Project Description
CRGP have carried out an extensive refurbishment of Seafield Primary School in Elgin, the scope of work involved the upgrade of the existing building fabric to meet current standards along with an extensive renovation internally.
New wall cladding, windows and roof coverings were installed to revamp the external appearance of the building, while internally all areas received a full refurbishment.
The project also involved the refurbishment of the existing standalone nursery into three classrooms for the upper school, along with a modular extension providing two classrooms and new pre-school nursery. Along with a further traditional build extension providing a larger dining room to facilitate the increased role.
The works were completed across a number of phases allowing the school to remain fully operational throughout the 18 month programme. The works have provided the local community with an extend school which is more functional with a modern appearance.
