Project Description
North Lanarkshire Council have taken possession of the new Calderbridge Primary School in Coltness, Wishaw, with pupils moving in to the new building on Wednesday 25th April 2012. The School combines the old Coltness Primary School and Lammermoor Primary School.
CRGP provided Architectural services for the project as part of the Graham Construction team.
The new School offers state of the art teaching facilities whilst also providing the local area with a new Community facility and a Nursery.
New wall cladding, windows and roof coverings were installed to revamp the external appearance of the building, while internally all areas received a full refurbishment.
Works were carried out across a number of phases allowing the school to remain fully operational throughout the 18 month programme. The works have provided the local with a modern and more functional school.
