Project Description
Fire damage reinstatement of 411-419 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow. Works carried out in 2 Phases. Phase 1 included the strip out works, taking the property back to the bare stone, installing new structural elements including new roof structure and coverings, new chimneys and drying the remaining fabric ready for reinstatement works. Phase 2 involved fitting out the various properties, including original features such as ornate cornicing. The severity of the fire damage required us to obtain Building Warrant, Planning Permission and Listed Building Consents for the works. Phase 1 and Phase 2 works were carried out by Fleming Buildings. Structural Engineering was provided by DCF Design Consultants.
