Project Description
Demolition of an existing property and construction of new 14 apartments over four storeys. The development was unusual and innovative because the external envelope used timber kit construction with cedar cladding to a large proportion of the walls as well as a stainless steel standing seam roof system. Increased thickness of insulation meant that the properties were constructed from environmentally sustainable sources that also led to improved energy efficiency for its occupiers.
CRGP’s John Hill showed himself to be at the cutting edge of innovative practices when he co-ordinated with the architect, client and specialist contractors to complete this uniquely designed project and to achieve 100% sales “off-plan”.
