Project Description

This former 1890’s Renaissance Mansion House had been left empty following its failure as a Nursing Home. Housing Developer Muir Homes constructed 100 4-5 bed villas on the site, however the Grade A Listed house was to be retained and symathetically converted. Muir appointed CRGP to obtain Building Warrant, Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for these works, and just as Building Warrant was obtained the building suffered severe fire damage, whereupon CRGP redesigned the 16 flats in close liaison with Historic Scotland to ensure as much of the existing building was retained and original features reinstated.
