Project Description
Extensive fire damage reinstatement works to a traditional farmhouse located near Fraserburgh.
Initial works carried out to make the property safe and to assist the property owner to recover items. Temporary services were installed to allow the owner to remain on site within a static caravan.
Phase 1 works covered strip-out and re-roofing works, leaving a wind and watertight property to be fitted out in a Phase 2 works.
Internally high quality hardwood floors, doors, facings and stair were reinstated along with traditional cornicing and fireplaces. A multi-fuel stove was installed providing full heating, hot water and cooking facilities.
Principal Contractor for all Phases was Morrison Construction, Specialist Works Division who performed well despite a severe winter hampering site access.
CRGP provided Project Management, Architecture and Quantity Surveying services.
