Project Description

Extension and refurbishment of 25 Belmont Street, Aberdeen, to provide a lettable property for commercial/ leisure usage. A tenant was found before works commenced and CRGP worked closely with their interior designers to meet the requirements of forming a new bar and restaurant on the site. The project was particularly challenging due to limited access to the front and a steeply sloping site to the rear, dominated by a large ash tree, which had to be protected and retained.

CRGP provided both architectural and quantity surveying services, working closely with the client and other consultants to ensure the project was delivered on time and within budget, from feasibility to completion.

Winner of a Civic Trust award and an Aberdeen Civic Society award the premises are now trading as one of Aberdeen’s most popular bar/ restaurants, the Revolution Bar has brought new life to a neglected and run down building and helped regenerate a popular area of the city.
