Project Description
In order to meet the latest Scottish Housing Quality Standards, this sheltered housing complex operated by Loretto Housing Association has been completely refurbished to provide residents with a brighter and more comfortable property in which to enjoy.
The complex comprises 26 flats and each of these were upgraded to include new kitchens, bathrooms, doors, electrical re-wiring, cavity wall insulation and general redecoration. Common areas were similarly refurbished with new finishes and protectove alarm systems. In addition to this, photovoltaic solar roof panels and a ground source heat pump have also been installed to reduce running costs to the property.
Works were carried out whilst existing residents remained insitu therefore careful planning was required to minimise disruption and to sustain progress whilst provide safe access.
CRGP provided QS and contract administration services to Lorretto Housing Assocaition. The works were completed by Cruden Building & Renewals.
