Project Description
Following extensive refurbishment, level 5 Annexe of the library at University of Glasgow has re-opened to provide a much improved environment for post grad students.
The existing space was very dark and outdated therefore the accommodation has been completely remodelled to provide bright and modern surroundings that also allow students to utilise networked desks in an open layout. Separate meeting and study rooms have also been provided as well as breakout areas, a locker room, printing and new toilet facilities.
Works were carried out during term time therefore careful planning was required in order to minimise disruption to the existing library facility and to students/staff who continued to use adjacent areas of the library.
CRGP provided QS services as part of their framework agreement with University of Glasgow and works were completed by Morris & Spottiswood.
