Project Description

In an effort to provide improved amenities for post grad students, the University’s former telephone exchange within the Grade A listed Gilbert Scott building was identified to house a new multi purpose social facility.

This multi function space was created to provide students with private and group study areas, dedicated toilet provision, lecture and exhibition space as well as an area that could be used as a café during daytime and a bar at night.

The existing accommodation was completely remodelled to a high specification to provide a modern and comfortable environment for students and its already proving to be popular.

CRGP provided QS and cost management services as part of their framework agreement with University of Glasgow. The works were completed by Morris & Spottiswood.
