Project Description
Five phases of recruit trainee accommodation have been completed within the Infantry Training Centre at Catterick Garrisson, the works have included the construction of a 11 seperate accommodation blocks utilising a variety of layouts to respond to the site context. The buildings comprise of four number 12 man dormitories per floor with communal ablutions, utility rooms, drying rooms, baggage stores, central store and communal briefing rooms. There are also staff facilities which include a platoon office, duty of care office and en-suite living out facility bedsit.
The overall development has seen the construction of over 2000 new bedspaces to provide grade 1 accommodation for the trainee recruits at Vimy Barracks in Catterick.
