THE PROJECT: to modernise existing, outdated facilities and make a suitable training base with improved accommodation.
OUR BRIEF: together with the architect, CRGP presented various options for the rationalisation and modernisation of the current accommodation. This eventually involved the demolition of existing buildings and the construction of a two-storey extension. A Grade B listed building that was part of the development underwent internal refurbishment.
THE RESULT: our quantity surveying and project management expertise ensured that the existing centre, which was still open, was not disrupted while the modernisation took place. Client, contractor and design team were all involved from start to finish.
