Project Description
CRGP in conjunction with Debut Services Ltd have completed the first Mess for Project SLAM at the Infantry Training Centre in Vimy Barracks, Catterick. The dining and welfare facility will serve the 1800 recruits three times daily and also provide them with television rooms, games areas and snack bar facilities along with areas to interact and relax, the building will also accommodate support services for the trainees. Along with daily meals the mess will also provide on average 8000 packed meals per month for off site training. The building is a one off in scale and prominence; the dining rooms along with the building mass and feature entrance provide a focal point within the centre of the Barracks.
